Spring 09 40 Days for Life: Day 32

My youngest sister is receiving her First Holy Communion this morning. This is such an exciting time for her! She has had a countdown going for the past month. "This many more days until I get to receive Jesus!" she cries. May we all always have that same joy when we are with Christ and when we have Christ within us. May we bring that joy to others, so that, through God's grace, we may lead them to Christ.

Spring 09 40 Days for Life: Day 16

So I'm sure everyone's pretty bummed about Obama funding the embryonic stem cell research again. He's working pretty hard to turn America into as anti-life as possible. But guess what? We're on God's side. Obama and his minions may be Goliath-sized, but like David, we're small and we're on the side of God, the side of truth. And because of that, if we have courage, pray, and work hard, we WILL NOT fail!
